MICHELLE ALVAREZ COLLAZO

      This series is about the healing process after a bad breakup. The still lives in my photograph show the different stages starting from grief and ending in peace. The strings that you see in my images is a distortion of emotions through the process of healing. My main intention is not only to show the various stages of a breakup but to show whoever has had this experience that they are not the only ones going through all that pain and fury. I want my work to represent that the way to endure all those emotions is to get rid of that hatred or heartbreak within oneself and to find peace.
